In practical applications, low-cost metal heat exchange tubes are extremely susceptible to corrosion by the medium, while the cost of alloy metal or special metal heat exchangers is higher. The graphite block hole heat exchanger has low cost and good corrosion resistance but has a short service life and low operating pressure.

The PPS heat pipes have good heat conductivity, excellent corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance, high blast resistance, and smooth surface that is fouling resistant.
